Five Mile Radius undertook the design, fabrication and installation of the SWOP stores in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

We developed a pallet of Australian hoop pine, local limestone paint, vintage finishes and recycled hardwoods for the build.

Inspired to try and limit the amount of cheap materials and waste associated with a retail fit out, we developed a series of key furniture pieces for the brand that could travel to subsequent tenancies when leases expire. The curved reception desk and recycled steel plant stands are all pieces designed for SWOP that can be easily transported.

Most of the furniture was fabricated in the Five Mile studio, the remainder was produced onsite, our team working closely with carpenters to assist on the build. We worked hard to limit the amount of synthetic paints, chemicals and adhesives used, opting for natural and recycled materials where possible.
